We stopped somewhere to look at this covered bridge off I-5.

Once we got to Gold Hill which is where our campground is we had some time to kill before we could check-in to our yurt. I've been wanting to go to The Oregon Vortex for years and knew it was in the area. Well, we found out as we were about to go there that it's closed until March. One week away, damn!!
We got bored of looking at shit so we drove along the Rogue River and decided to try to check-in a couple hours early. Success!

We decided to check out the campground. There's a little hiking trail right on the river that we explored.
I think we had a lot of excess energy from sitting in the car for so long.
We sat around for the rest of the night playing gin rummy, reading, and drinking Hamms. Goodnight!
