Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all! Hope it was great for you!
My mom is in town and we had a blast! Here's some pictures from our holly, jolly Christmas.

Wow. Just look at us. So festive and attractive! We even coordinated shoes.

In the late afternoon we went and saw, "The Adventures of Tintin" in 3D IMAX. We take great pictures.

When we got home the cooking and feasting began!

First thing's first. Let's have a drink!

Cheers! Mmmm, hot buttered rums!

I made salad. I'm a really good cook.

Oh man, look at this. Pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, and salad. I'm hungry!

I know I amazed you with my salad making skills, but hold your breath. Because, I made a ginger snap, pecan, pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.

And last but not least, Christmas miracles really do come true because you will never believe me, but I swear it's true. Patty Mills is now following me on Twitter.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

All Hallows' Eve

I had really wanted to be a deer for Halloween for years. Anyone who knows me knows that deers are my spirit animal. My Hogwarts patronus. You get the idea. Finally, I found my costume. I guess I'm a little late to this,
"Etsy" thing.
If I would have known sooner, I'm sure I would have been a deer decades ago.
Anyway, enough blabbing, how about some pics!

Oh, but first, I would like to say thank you to LeFeu on Etsy for making the amazing headband and tail. Thanks!

Classic mirror shot. I found my dress on a clearance rack and spray painted it. So crafty, I know!

I would like to thank my rad friend and hair stylist Emily for doing my hair! Thanks!

Party time! Me and my friends Draco Malfoy, and Johanna the Viking!

And Cale the gnome!

And this guy in the front was dressed like a drunk jerk off!

Now, I've gotta tell you. Etsy is huge. I believe some of the stuff ships worldwide. Never in a million years did I expect to see another white tailed deer at this party. Well, I was mistaken. And, she bought it from the same Etsy seller. Cue twilight zone music.

Her name was Christy. She was awesome. We got along as well as any other deers would.

On Monday, actual Halloween, it was trivia night at the bar. The clientele dressed to impress and a great time was had by all.

Courtney and myself. Courtney was dressed as, "Disco is dead". Although I'm actually a closeted disco fan, her costume was clever.
Thank you Brittany for use of this photo!

Brittany the fisherwoman.

Candy bowl!

Brother and sister. Incase you can't tell, Seth's a clown!

Neil, Haley, and Takela. Mary Poppins was one of my favorite costumes.

And finally, a parting shot of my tail.
Hope everybody had a wonderful Halloween!

A few more photos!

Here's some photos from my mom and John. Thanks!

Photos from mom:

Drinking at The Asylum. The cheapest bar in Ketchikan for a pint.

Jamie and Me with a totem.

Pennock.

View of Deer Mountain from Pennock.

Seth, mom and Holly. You can tell I'm getting sick. I look like I'm made of wax.

Coolest. Dog. Ever. Numchee. I now want a Norwich Terrier. John says no. I am sad.

There was actually sun in Ketchikan a couple of days!

This picture isn't from vacation, but I thought I would share with my 7 wonderful followers:
Check out this badass family. I'm guessing this is 1990? My style hasn't changed much. I still love shoulder pads.

Photos from John:

Might as well jump!

They don't like to smile for photos. Precious.

Chipmunk!

A nasty mink eating a rotten ol' salmon. Nasty bitch!

Our campground at night time.

Boat ride over to Pennock. I love this picture.

Kaitlynn, Numchee and Holly.

Mmm.

We are tough.

Let the fireworks begin!

Ooooh.

Aaaah.

And, done.

Home!

I'm home! Back to reality tomorrow (meaning, work).
Canada was great! It was a loooooong drive though!
Here's some pics!

Was a stormy ferry ride. It's hard to see, but there's a big rock out in the ocean with a lighthouse.

Food you can get in Canada! Five-Alive!

And dill pickle chips!

Black bear sighting!

Stretching station:

Gold Pan Motel in Quesnel. I would recommend AGAINST staying here. Unless of course you like brown water showers.

On our last night we stayed at this little cabin right on Blue Lake, about an hour outside of Hope.

Jumping pictures are my new favorite thing. I intend to start taking lots of them.

There was a dock with a slide into the lake. I did not slide.

Hike around the lake, this sign was posted.

Final day! Thumb up!

I know. I'm really photogenic.

Harry from Harry and the Hendersons.

Pike Place Market. Johns really photogenic too.

Thrift store gem in Seattle.

Okay, bye!
