Sweet potato plants

I went and visited my mom a few weeks ago. In her window sill she had a cute little plant. She had heard that sweet potatoes make nice plants so she decided to try it.

I thought it was neat and wanted to try it myself.







Nothing. I clearly did not inherit my moms green thumb.

UPDATE: My mom is coming to town this weekend and bringing me her plant! Wish me luck I don't kill it!
